Rocky Mountain Agribusiness Association Scholarships
Rocky Mountain Agribusiness Association presents seven $1,000 undergraduate scholarships yearly. The funds to support the scholarship program are all raised at the Golfing for Scholarships Tournament and the Annual Fall Meeting through donations on the golf course, skeet shoot, fishing event and the Thursday evening auction.
The Association provides one scholarship to a student from each of the following five schools: Colorado State University, University of Wyoming, Northeastern Colorado Junior College, Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture and Lamar Community College. The Scholarship Committee is in the process of selecting a fifth school. The student must be majoring in a discipline that involves plant and soil sciences, pest management or ag business. It will be awarded in January and can be used by the student for tuition, books, etc.
Scholarships for Agricultural Students at CSU, UW, NJC, NCTA and FLC Students majoring in a discipline involving plant and soil science, pest management or ag business are nominated by faculty and are selected by the Scholarship committee. The application form for the designated colleges/universities can be downloaded below or can be requested from the RMAA office. The DEADLINE for submission is NOVEMBER 27TH. "Bill Gordon" and "Dale Seyler" Scholarships
These scholarships are available to the son or daughter of any Rocky Mountain Agribusiness Association member-in-good-standing who has completed at least one semester of undergraduate study and is currently at an accredited college or university. The candidate should have demonstrated excellent academic leadership ability, community service and activities. The Rocky Mountain Agribusiness Association board selects the recipient.
The "Bill Gordon" scholarship honors a former active member of the Rocky Mountain Plant Food and Agricultural Chemicals Association. The "Dale Seyler" scholarship honors a former active member of the Colorado Grain and Feed Association.
The DEADLINE for submission is NOVEMBER 1st. Please have applications postmarked no later than the deadline date.
